It is Glasgow in the year 1793, and things are very different to how they are now. We have Robert Dreghorn, or as the cruel children of Glasgow would call him “Bob the Dragon ” (he was disfigured, due to smallpox as a child). Robert’s older sister Elizabeth is part of the drama, and Elizabeth Dreghorn is a passionate woman, very much involved in The Temperance Movement of the day, as indeed is her good friend and companion, the Baillie of the Gorbals! Well, well, and what about our wee Beth, the maid, and her sister Mary Hill who works at the local cotton mill?? As for Maggie Peebles, on the Trongate, oh my….. what on earth happened to her? Don’t be alarmed, it’s all very straightforward. Just come along and enjoy your meal alongside these characters and tell us, who shot who? Why? How do you know, ie what evidence do you have? Simple!

Wallace had many men on his side of course, but enemies too! Join us on the journey to Rome to Petition the Pope for the Freedom of Scotland. Does Wallace survive the journey? If he does, what happens on his return? Is his wife Marion still alive or not? And Bruce, well, who’s side is he REALLY on? As for the Earl of Menteith, does he even know what a seal is? So many questions to be answered and a murder to be committed! Join us on this journey of discovery. Who killed the victim? Why? How? Bring your sleuthing skills, be competitive, there’s a prize to be won.

The year is 1696, witches and witchcraft abound, there are coven’s forming all around, and spells being cast. Well well, someone is under threat of being burned at the stake… what will they do, and who will it involve? There’s a household of people to choose from! Join us and tell us who killed the victim? Why? How? It will be fun, and there is a prize to be won.

It’s Christmas 1857, snowing outside, and The Hamiltons are ever so excited as their guests have joined them for a Christmas Eve dinner. The evening begins well enough. The tree is looking lovely. Gingerbread has been baked. Even the maid has agreed to sing a wee song. Oh how lovely, everyone is in a very merry mood, or are they? Hmn… someone is having an affair with someone, friendships are under strain, and one very unexpected guest does turn up. Join us and enjoy your 3 course Christmas dinner but… “There’s been a murder!!” and it is up to you to work it out! And we do love you all to get into the spirit of it all by being competitive, so do tell us… who did it? There is a prize to be won.
